Colorado Symphony Announces ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ Shows

first_imgToday, the Colorado Symphony has announced that they’ll partner with Disney for two special evenings dedicated to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.The events, set to take place at Broomfield, CO’s 1stBANK Center on March 23rd and 24th, will reportedly include a screening of the sci-fi classic as well as a live symphonic performance of the film’s score, composed by John Williams. Disney has also announced various other iterations of the Empire Strikes Back orchestral show with different orchestras around the country.Tickets for the special symphonic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back In Concert event go on sale this Friday, December 21st, either via AXS or by phone at 303-893-TIXS. Any remaining tickets will be available at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and Pepsi Center box offices starting the following day, Saturday, December 22nd.This newly added event continues a string of mainstream-centric performances from the Colorado Symphony. They recently teamed up with Lettuce for a special symphonic funk performance at the Denver Performing Arts Complex’s Boettcher Concert Hall.
