Celebrate Bass Wizard Joe Dart’s 27th Birthday With These Flashback Fool’s Paradise Performances

first_imgJoe Dart is becoming one of the preeminent bassists on the scene, with his punchy bass lines serving as the funky backbone for Michigan’s Vulfpeck. It also just so happens that it’s Joe Dart’s birthday, and we’re so happy to honor the bass virtuoso X funk-possessed human bobblehead turning 27 (yes, you read that correctly.). To celebrate Dart’s lap around the sun, we’re throwing it back to the inaugural year of Fool’s Paradise, when Vulfpeck laid down two incredible sets during their first-ever festival performance. Throughout the weekend, the group had a bunch of special guests sit-in, and Vulfpeck more or less stole the festival spotlight. You can watch performances from across that fateful weekend that solidified Mr. Joe Dart and the rest of his compadres in Vulfpeck in our hearts and ears, plus check out some performances featuring the likes of Cory Henry, Antwuan Stanley, Adam Deitch, Eric Krasno, and Ryan Zoidis from the weekend. Thanks to YouTube user Lins Hurst, you can watch some of the weekend highlights below:“Beastly” feat.
